After studying some of the research completed around the world, I have some really interesting facts about the chemical properties of cannabis. One of the main studies have concluded that the levels of carcinogens found in marijuana are many times higher than those found in cigarette tobacco. For those of you who are not familiar with what carcinogens are, cancer causing agents is what they have been infamously known for.

Along with high carcinogen levels, pot contains dangerous levels of ammonia. I don't want to make this a blog about chemistry so you might want to do some searching of your own to find out more about amonia and some of the other elements that are mentioned. Just for your information, the ammonia levels found in marijuana smoke were more than 17 times!

Other non-beneficial components of cannabis are: nitric oxid, aromatic amines and hydrogen cyanide. Please take the time to look up these terms to realize the true hazards they are. So that pretty much sums up how innocent this "Maryjane" really is.
